The Keys and Everglades

So as you are reading this we are obviously back home in Minnesota.  I really didn't have time to put this post together on the road. We spent four days and three nights in the Keys just chilling and hanging out.  The weather was perfect especially since the day after we left Sabin said the wind chill was -44. We decided to catch the sunset one evening so while we were waiting for the sun to do its thing, I took some random photos.  Honestly, the pics don't do it justice, it really is paradise.   One afternoon we spent in Key West.  We made it to the famous buoy...it was nice to see it but everybody does it so you literally have to stand in line with tons of people and wait your turn Then of course we spent a few days just relaxing on a couple beaches.  At first we were the pale white Minnesotans by the time we left we were the extra crispy Minnesotans. So only Chad and I would carefully plan our future by selling our house, quiting our jobs, taking a year off to travel just to get thrown in a pandemic!  But there is not much any of us can do about it, the world is crazy right now.  So for the few people here that aren't my children - Chad and I were at Darien's riding out COVID when my old boss called and asked if I wanted my old job back.  I wasn't really sure what to do.  The one thing I know for sure is that our traveling is not done by a long shot and I didn't really want to be stuck in the same old grind.  So after much debate, I took my old job and am back at the same old grind. Not being sure what was going to happen with the fallout from the pandemic, I figured, it might be a good thing to have a stable job until all this crap blows over.
